When the publicity is better than the IT

What a shame – for the last ten minutes i’ve been trying to log-on to the History Matters webpage , so that i could participate in the Nations blog. I was looking forward to participating, after reading and hearing about the initiative all week.

Unfortunately at the time of writing the site is down. It seems that on this occassion the publicity they’ve manged to generate (is/was a great idea, and the coverage to date has been superb) has put a little too much presure on their IT system. Shame, sounds like marketing and IT might not have spoken with each other about this idea…

I’ll keep trying to log on though.
